Ministries of Celebration
Community Church
Celebration Community Church has a wide variety of
ministries. We feel that church is not just attendance, but a community of
believers for worship, ministry, fellowship and outreach. We all have our
own spiritual talents, and when we work together as one, we glorify God.
The more involved our people are, it seems the more blessings they receive
in the process.
The growth in membership that CCC has experienced for the last several years
has been due in great part to the willingness of its members to commit to
service in a particular ministry. Once again, we are asking for your
help in the following ministries:

Banner Team---Our
Banner Group designs and creates the lovely banners displayed in our
Sanctuary. These are used throughout the year, and depict the liturgical
seasons of the church year. We have some experienced banner makers, and we
have beginners in this group as well..
CD Burning—This group comes in on assigned Monday Nights to make copies of the sermon for those who are away or homebound.
Clean Team—The Clean Team meets bi monthly or monthly and consists of individuals who have the gift of cleaning. They clean specific areas of the church such as the oven, the fridge, the pews, etc.
Foodies—Meeting on Monday Nights, the Foodies are responsible for sorting and moving cans of food that will be picked up by various individuals and over 60 groups.
Friends of the Church—This group meets during the day about once a quarter to cook food for members who are ill.
Liturgy Team—On Tuesday Nights once a month, this group provides readings (such as litanies or calls to worship) for the worship service.
Music Department—The Music Department has rehearsals in the Sanctuary each Thursday at 7 pm.
Prayer Team—This group of volunteers receives an email weekly of our prayer list. They pray for those on our list throughout the week.
Sound Tech –Sounds techs learn the intricacies of our sound system and are available for worship services on Sundays. Training is available and required.
Sunday Lunch Bunch—These volunteers once a month cook lunch in our kitchen for those who wish to eat here on Sundays after the service.
Ushers—These trained volunteers are the first people individuals meet when they come to Celebration. Ushers greet all of our worshippers, hand out bulletins, and assist with special services as well. Training is required.
Video Tech—A technician in the 9 am service, the video tech loads the computer with our video presentations, and operates the video program. Training is required for this ministry.
Wednesday Night Cooks—These cooks prepare dinners to be served on Wednesday evenings for our Wednesday Night Crowd.
Worship Assistants—Worship Assistants assist with the worship services at 9 am and 11 am. Training for these volunteer areas is required. Worship assistants help in these areas:
Altar Guild—This group is responsible for altar ware, setting up communion, dressing the altar, and changing the paraments and banners.
Acolytes—During communion, these worship assistants hold the elements for the servers.Servers—These worship assistants serve communion to the congregation.
Readers—During each worship service, we have readers whose responsibility is to read call to worships, litanies, etc. ,
